Reliance Jio Announces New Tariffs and Exciting Apps

Reliance Jio revenue from operations increased around 11% to Rs 25,959 crore

Starting July 3, 2024, Reliance Jio will increase prices across all its prepaid and postpaid plans. This marks the first tariff hike in over two years. Along with the price hikes, Jio is launching two new applications: JioSafe and JioTranslate, which will be free for Jio users for one year.

The new tariffs will see a significant increase. Here’s a breakdown of some of the updated plans:

New Postpaid Plans

Postpaid plans have also seen increases:

• The Rs 299 plan providing 30GB of data is now Rs 349.
• The Rs 399 plan providing 75GB of data is now Rs 449.

New Applications: JioSafe and JioTranslate

Jio is launching two new applications:

• JioSafe: A quantum-secure communication app for calling, messaging, and file transfers, priced at Rs 199 per month.
• JioTranslate: An AI-powered multi-lingual communication app for translating voice calls, messages, text, and images, priced at Rs 99 per month.

Both apps will be free for Jio users for one year.
