One attendee said, "The crowd was huge. After the satsang ended, we tried to leave, but the exit was too narrow. Suddenly, panic erupted, and people started falling and getting crushed." Another witness added, "The road outside had a high curb with a drain below. As people tried to cross, many fell into the drain and were trampled."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, and other political leaders expressed their condolences. PM Modi stated, "I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families and wish for the speedy recovery of the injured. The state government is engaged in rescue operations." President Murmu called the incident "heart-rending," offering her sympathies to the affected families.
Government Response
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has dispatched senior officials to the site and announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh for the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 for the injured. He will visit Hathras to meet the victims' families and assess the situation. An investigation team has been formed to determine the cause of the stampede.
Political Reactions
Opposition leaders have criticized the government's handling of the event. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav questioned the lack of adequate crowd control measures despite prior warnings. BSP chief Mayawati demanded a thorough investigation and appropriate action.

As rescue operations continue, the death toll may rise. Authorities are also searching for the satsang organizer, Narayan Sakar Hari, who has been missing since the incident.

नेताओं की प्रतिक्रिया
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू और अन्य राजनीतिक नेताओं ने शोक व्यक्त किया। पीएम मोदी ने कहा, "मैं मृतकों के परिवारों के प्रति अपनी गहरी संवेदना व्यक्त करता हूँ और घायलों के शीघ्र स्वस्थ होने की कामना करता हूँ। राज्य सरकार बचाव कार्य में लगी हुई है।" राष्ट्रपति मुर्मू ने इस घटना को "दिल दहला देने वाला" कहा और प्रभावित परिवारों के प्रति अपनी संवेदना व्यक्त की।

बचाव कार्य जारी रहते हुए मृतकों की संख्या बढ़ सकती है। अधिकारियों द्वारा सत्संग के आयोजक नारायण सकार हरी की भी तलाश की जा रही है, जो घटना के बाद से लापता हैं।
