During the recent Parliament session, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi delivered a speech that has sparked significant controversy and criticism. BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has publicly suggested that Gandhi should seek therapy for what she perceives as an identity crisis, citing his statements in the Lok Sabha as "irresponsible."

Gandhi's speech included accusations against the BJP, claiming that the party systematically attacks the Constitution and the fundamental idea of India. He also referred to himself in the third person, stating, "not one Rahul exists; rather, there are two of him." This statement led Ranaut to recommend therapy, highlighting the potential psychological implications of his remarks.
Additionally, portions of Gandhi's speech, particularly those targeting the central government and Hindu community, were expunged from the Parliament records. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several cabinet ministers, including Amit Shah, interjected during his speech, demanding an apology from Gandhi for his comments.
Gandhi defended his statements, asserting that "truth can be expunged in Modi's world, but not in reality." He emphasized that despite the expunging of his remarks, the truth would ultimately prevail. His speech also drew on religious teachings from Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism, Christianity, Buddhism, and Jainism to underline the importance of fearlessness.

गांधी के भाषण में भाजपा पर संविधान और भारत की मौलिक विचारधारा पर व्यवस्थित हमले का आरोप लगाया गया। उन्होंने स्वयं को तीसरे व्यक्ति में संबोधित करते हुए कहा, "राहुल केवल एक नहीं हैं; बल्कि उनमें दो हैं।" इस बयान ने रनौत को थेरेपी की सिफारिश करने के लिए प्रेरित किया, जिससे उनके बयानों के संभावित मनोवैज्ञानिक प्रभाव को उजागर किया।
इसके अलावा, गांधी के भाषण के उन हिस्सों को, विशेष रूप से जो केंद्र सरकार और हिंदू समुदाय को लक्षित करते थे, संसद के रिकॉर्ड से हटा दिया गया। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और कई कैबिनेट मंत्रियों, जिनमें अमित शाह भी शामिल हैं, ने उनके भाषण के दौरान हस्तक्षेप किया और गांधी से उनके बयानों के लिए माफी की मांग की।
गांधी ने अपने बयानों का बचाव करते हुए कहा कि "मोदी जी की दुनिया में सत्य हटाया जा सकता है, लेकिन वास्तविकता में नहीं।" उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि उनके बयानों को हटाए जाने के बावजूद, सत्य अंततः प्रबल होगा। उनके भाषण ने हिंदू धर्म, इस्लाम, सिख धर्म, ईसाई धर्म, बौद्ध धर्म और जैन धर्म की धार्मिक शिक्षाओं पर भी जोर दिया ताकि निडरता के महत्व को रेखांकित किया जा सके।
